And up in the ether, just floating around in the collective conscious of some communities, there is a sense that investors are vultures and are part of the changing of their neighborhoods that they have lived in for decades.

My advice is worry less about them paying by the first and just figure out how much money you need to cover the 10 day "float".

I love the lifestyle and look forward to moving to our floating home each year.You might want to rent an RV and spend a month living in it before you make a purchase decision just to see if the lifestyle is for you.

And while I have the reserves to float a longer lease up for the storage deal, the prospects for continued growth in population/rents in that market suddenly seem much less attractive.  

You can’t buy before you sell unless you have enough money floating around to purchase it and pay for a complicated/expensive reverse-exchange.

I have used some of the big-name title companies in this area for some REI transactions and they have just nailed the pooch each time, if you get my drift.
