My thought is to get a few people with whom we can bounce ideas off each other, grow and learn.

Agreed Steve going to take a little while for the new reality to sink in.. then I feel it will bounce back once folks adjust.everyone cried it from the mountain that these rates we enjoy last few years could not last and expect them to go up..

We have bounced around the idea of a lake home as a short term rental.  

I wanted to bounce it off everyone on BP before I started to get too deep into it.  

After a bk and two years later with 50-60 available to invest to me means you may have learned how to save some cash which is great to see(no idea what caused the bk and none of our business but great to see you bounced back!).

I generally bounce around and visit many of the local meetups (REIAs, cashflow games, and informal BP meetups) based on the topic of discussion.

You need to really analyze deals, bounce them off of other investors, and know what you are getting into.

Ill keep you in mind when I venture into the city and maybe bounce some questions off you.

This is one of my large concerns about the 4/2 size...In all likelihood, we will keep the 4/2 & 4/2 combination, as the finishes and capex will be lower, allowing us to move out more quickly.It's nice to have someone to bounce these thoughts off of!!!  

My agent bounced it off her broker and she said that it's a boilerplate FL contract and brokerage firm can't agree to all of this additional liability.
