I have had similar issues as well with D&B however, after speaking with several of their reps D&B will not issue you a paydex score unless you purchase their self monitor service.

Have a minimum age restriction, get a photo ID from renters, get a security deposit, have an exterior camera to monitor for too many people or unauthorized pets etc.We keep taking most of our profits to make upgrades to the property, but house does pay for it self so we have a free Lake house!

If you are not there to monitor and work with them, you cannot know for sure whether they worked.Once you are skilled enough with home repairs, you can lead the projects yourself and hire help for a lower rate if help is desired.You will probably save tens of thousands of dollars over haggling with contractors over large jobs and make some good contacts along the way who you may trust in the future to work independently.
