.$200 isnt completely out of line for a repair job if there was more than resetting the toilet which I'd guess there was.I've made it a habit on any new property to hire a plumber to pull the toilets and replace wax rings with these from home depot or new wax rings on the rare occasion what I posted wont work (depends on floor height) -- if the toilets are old enough and I dont want to rebuild the guts I'll just replace them with models from Menards -- I really like Pro Flows from Ferguson supply, however I dont have the buying power my buddy does at his plumbing business so I cant justify spending twice the price there.  

There might be a chance of getting some government funding for the interior rebuild if its designated low income senior housing.

or sold to companies like habitat for humanity or the like, to help rebuild the community.  

That property is badly damaged by termites and would need a complete rebuild to make it "nice".

I think they are still rebuilding from the massive fire a few years ago. 

Sanibel and Captiva are a big draw for tourists, and they will not be accessible by car for a long time (I'd have to guess at least a year to rebuild that infrastructure). 

Having to completely rebuild a 401k/IRA balance starting at age 40 isn't going to yield much of a retirement.Much better to save after tax income on top of a 401k as well. 

I can't imagine it being a huge deal, the county already ready shows deck in the original build and we will only be removing the old deck and rebuilding it with the same dimensions. 

Got it in Contract for 1.25 smallest number was 1.1 the buyer would take but it would need demolition and a rebuild to make it work.

If its 1000 sqft your rehab might be around $50k if its a complete rebuild it could be $100,000.
