But I can tell that you, Sue, must have had your fair share of more than annoying experiences. ;-)And poor @Rachel Pivonka    who just wanted to get some input (=assistance): Only you know the whole story, or at least as much as you do.

I know it would be easy, and frankly, I'm not going to live the paranoid life where I hide from folks just because they may be crazy.I do want to be somewhat isolated from the torrent of inquiries and pesky annoyance callers.  

They remind me aloft a lazy agent that was so annoyed while being at the house that just pushed the room door open   and snapped a pic.  

If you were to win a case like this (which I hope you don't) landlords can begin to ban their tenants from smoking just like bs city ordinances that ban people from smoking in public places (like bars) which is a true annoyance;and bring those same kind of bs rules into real estate.

The one thing that I find very annoying is when a tenant doesn't simply call me to tell me it will be late...

It's just such a big freaking annoying headache.

I would be very annoyed at a landlord who didn't lay down the law and keep it nice and smoke free for everyone else.

It's not enough yet all your costs are the same.The 1% rule is annoyingly basic at times, but it is a good rule of thumb.
