There are plenty of websites that can give you a good idea of property values in your area.

There are only 3 reviews on their website which are all extremely generic and I think aren't real.  

This is not yoursituation, but just to walk through the different thought processesin Holding/Selling that a friend of mine is going through.Helped my friend getinto the Self Storage business and walked him through the wholeprocess from evaluating the market, selecting a site, developing thesite, systems, financing, insurance, etc.

There have been a ton of warning signs here on BP and other sites about the markets and how to be a smarter investor - but that is boring advice.

We do land entitlement so we control all sites and tie them up until zoning is approved. we don't buy land that we can't entitle first

We're closing next week on an event venue with 10 lodging units on-site. 

One big challenge is coming up with the down payment in the first place and waiting for the revenue to ramp up after also investing in great design and marketing.

For each property listed through a Section 8 website, over 100 requests for application are received within the first couple of hours.
