We rent out one of our units to a family from Venezuela (documented and in US legally on temporary visa). 

There was one company that was owned by an American and she was the most put together, explaining she would list my property under her LLC to help save me the 25% taxes México charges for nightly rentals (I purchased my condo on a tourist Visa) and they did everything.

I thought about STRs but I am on a work visa so I cannot legally manage my own property (grey area).

It would be interesting if Section 8 payments for your area were higher than what you say is average for the same bedroom count for non-voucher holders. 

They had a work visa but it expired a few months ago.

When they see the insurance certificate with the LLC as the deed holder won't they become aware of the transfer anyway?
