My family has been invested in that county since the mid 60s.. that property I knew well.. it cant be developed.. so you have rookie who had no clue and no means to really develop it.. and led on by a lender just interested in the 10k up front.. 

I would think that setting each cell up as a separate entity would solve the matter.

Not sure how the lawsuits arrived at this outcome, but either a certain % of buyer broker fees become an expected term, which list prices will reflect, or they solve the issue outside of the offer, like it becomes commonly added to the loan amount, so list prices eventually stop reflecting it.

But, we also bought one house sight unseen that was a ultimately a not so great flip (same team, different area) which we were able to eventually fix (a cost of the fast-moving market, and us missing some quality clues) (Hint: have reserves on hand for a handyman!).

If you can separate them and potentially buy your own meter you can save big bucks and it will solve the problem.

Most of them have no clue what they are talking about.

Seems like it would solve the problem and the turnarounds would be easier.
