I have a no B.S policy when I work with contractors, because of the amount of scams / theft there is in the industry.

The funny thing is, all three sorta "knew" it had to be a scam so at least they had the common sense to check it out.

I was very skeptical at first and very familiar with online scams.

I have received a lot of feedback from travel healthcare workers who say "It is terrifying to send a deposit (+1 month rent sometimes) to a stranger to hold space when it could be a scam".

This company is a total scam that takes advantage of young renters.

Vacant property, out of state owner, wants cash, can't get you in to see the house... these are all scam red flags.

Usually these are scams, but this financial instrument really does exist with FDIC and licensed mortgage lenders.
