Folks will generally have a fantastic rental strategy but they don't fit the lense of regular guidelines.

Most would be better off with just a regular landlord insurance policy and an umbrella policy.

Sometimes large employers will rent furnished apartments for their employees coming to town on a regular basis.Also, if you believe strongly in the appreciation of the house, how bad would the negative cash flow be if you did long term rental? 

Nobody monitors or enforces it, but you should understand this before jumping in.

Neither camera is capable of turning toward the house to view anything going on inside the residence.I am a remote landlord and wanted the cameras as a security measure to protect the exterior as well as monitor what goes on when outdoor vendors are at the property. 

Assuming a similar scope of work for a 1000 SqFt house would you say say $25 a SqFt would still hold (maybe $25-40 with a regular handyman or crew). 

Not to mention, solar panels can also be a cause of roof leaks and require regular cleaning to maintain some level of efficiency which is not great to start with while also getting worse over time.
