I’d politely ask them to smoke elsewhere and store it properly in a sealed mason jar so the whole neighborhood doesn’t smell it.

I would look at a low cost make ready service or even a good handy man type who is good with paint and just arm them with a gallon of the same color.... or heck, carry a quart and some throw away sponge brushes for when you show the place....tell the landlord how you just saved them 1,600 bucks...I would let landlords know you are going to do the lowest cost thing: touch up paint and keep them out of court (which gets really expensive) by getting that tenant moved out without a deposit dispute and a new paying tenant moved in....

The second wins etc. something smaller and the rest get small gas cards or something like 5 bucks each.I don't know if you do that there but the point is to get opinions on what they feel the value is unnamed thrown into a jar written down.
