They're not untapped markets, but for long term growth in values and rents, I think few markets have held up as well as over the 40 or 60 year time horizons (to date) as New York City and California (especially San Francisco and Los Angeles).

The nostalgia has consumers and professionals wondering if another bust is on the horizon.

Not saying it will change the property code this session, but look for it on the horizon. 

There is an abundance of MFH’s and the Village has a fair amount of development currently, with more on the horizon if approved by the Village.

However, I would encourage you to broaden your horizons in terms of your next property.

That long term investing horizon is key.

Stocks are teetering at all time highs, interest rate rise is on the horizon, inflation is already here, state and federal taxes are absolutely going to rise at a level not seen before.

You must be sure this area is 'gentrifying' so you will recoup the most $ possible.If this is just a 'kinda' good deal with no huge upturn in the neighborhood on the horizon, then bail out now and lose the $1500, you'll be thankful later....You can fix up lousy houses all day long , but you can't change the neighborhood.
