Roles may include “boots-on-the-ground” work in the market (touring properties, building relationships, finding off-market deals, intel on the market, etc), raising capital, finding deals, investor relationships, underwriting deals, etc.

@Shenes Benniefield Watson my take on this is that you are well positioned to start setting the ground work up for your eventual "retirement".

If this ground work is laid out correctly you can rinse and repeat, buy and hold, and repeatedly growth the net worth. 

Are you just going to be investing capital and therefore looking for someone to do all the "ground work?" 

That being said, my team is on the ground, working Trenton everyday.

If they understand that groundwork has already been started, they likely don't want to re-start the process themselves.

Though i do not know the legal requirements, I feel like you are laying the right groundwork to be a great landlord, whether they stay or go.

I should be in position to move forward on a flip in late winter/early spring, so I thought I need to start laying the groundwork now.
