Not personal, not a tongue lashing, just a to the point matter of fact post that has been discussed in may threads on the topic that people never search for before asking the same or similar question, so, since you have a great title in this forum, others should be able to find it, thanks for the good title and question, it's why this is a more detailed post. :) 

In addition to @Carolyn Fuller point of ask guest do they need anything. ( after night 1 )    I have had a lot of luck asking after they have left ( We strive for a five star experience.

That would be much more meaningful and have a greater impact on his future rather than your lashing out as you have done which, by the way, helps absolutely no one.

When my anger got the best of me, I lashed out at the persons I felt were hurting my family and I. 

The issue is that the owner is mentally unstable and creates problems and then lashes out on others on the block.

I also assume you're aware that most positive experiences go unrecorded, because it's typically the upset people that lash out.That's a good little read if you plan on basing your choices on the reviews of others.
