Moving down and pursuing a career in real estate can be extremely difficult work at first, and income may not even be a fraction of what you anticipated. 

@Steve Rozenberg  agree with everything you said except how when people lose their jobs they become renters.. how can they pay for rent if they have no jobs and or the menial job they must take pays a fraction of their oil and gas job.. ?
