As per our lawyer it is legal…I also itemized a list of repairs/remediation for my own kicks (odor removal, patch and pain holes in walls, scratches in floor from dog…) they have $8.89 left according to that.Either way...big development!!!

I'm in the middle of a full remodel and the carpeting and linoleum had to go - one due to pet odors and the other due to age and poor repair.

The bylaws have a clause that no resident should allow noxious odors to come from their unit.The HOA president has inspected the stairwell when my tenants have complained and she also does not smell anything.My tenants keep contacting me about this and I am wondering what else, if anything, should I do?

The other tenants shouldn't be forced to live with an animal if they find the odor or presence offensive, are allergic, etc.
