I was also considering the REI expo in February so maybe I'll see you there.You're a self-proclaimed novice but I think many other members of the community would agree that you're well on your way given your potential cashflowing rental and equity.You seem to have a strong position which would allow you to keep growing your portfolio in the next few years.I'd recommend diversifying your RE portfolio the same way you're diversifying with other investments (REITs, Stocks, bonds etc.).

I can also allow a tenant to grow with me - just moved a family from a two bedroom to a three bedroom apartment.Personally the only reasons I would choose to invest in multiple markets is a) because I wanted an excuse to go somewhere regularly or b) for economic/geographic diversity.I had the advantage that my home market was good.

As an entrepreneur, you should be focused on running and growing your business, not constantly worrying about and following up on your "business advisor".

Lot's of boomers who are looking to retire.The years of growing a real estate portfolio out of nothing are unfortunately over.

I don't have any specifics but as someone who is into tech, accounting/finance, and a consultant to grow businesses.

Runner Up:- Lincoln City, Seaside, Gearhart - All of these towns are charming and growing and have all of the above to offer.

-Loganville and Douglasville: Growing communities with job growth.That's my two cents on areas...

I'm unsure if it's the entire EU, but forsure in Italy, they receive a pension at a certain age.
