The direct booking features are also fantastic.Customer service is solid, and Hospitable is constantly improving.

The second company had a PM contract and due to other reasons we did not continue their services after a couple of months so tax stuff did not arise.

There is so much free content out there that can teach you about guest services, software, vendor management, and so on. 

I am a long-term investor, but I also provide services to long-term investors, so my advice is biased toward that option.
