What I would tell you is that as we built our portfolio we continued working our full time corporate (cubicle) jobs until we had 20 units (self-managing them along the way).

You can self manage from anywhere.

We have done 8 self storage locations and 2 country subdivisions selling lots in the Omaha area and been very successful.  

I’ve been self-educating  about real estate for about 4 months now.

Insurance is the FIRST line of defense.  

Real Estate, Self Help/Health, Starting my own Direct to Seller Business, Roth IRA, Crypto, and my family! 

I prefer small Strip malls or self storage.I need advice on how to find the deals, how to get lending on them and then how to set up the structure.I have flexibility to fly out next month is there are peers who can meet and help me out in their local markets.thanks,Paul 

My late wife and I held joint interests in a piece of real estate in our separate individual self directed 401k accounts.

For just one unit, we charge 100% of 1st month for self-managers and 50% + 10% for us to manage.

I have had thoughts and considerations of doing such a thing for some time but wondered would it be something worth doing, as in people would use it, find value in it, enough to offset the time and investment of self into creating and maintaining it.
