So easy to change the code when a roommate moves out and you never have to worry about a dumb tenant losing their key and having to deal with a locksmith or leaving work to let them in the house.The house doesn't have a living room or any additional things like tv's.

The tenant has threatened me before in the past over text messages but has been civil in person.I was going to give notice to enter the unit and schedule a locksmith (to open the storm door) and hopefully change the lock in the storm door so we can both have keys, and schedule a police officer for a civil standby.

.- Wait till they leave for the day to check on your vacant property and when you find that your locks are broken (i.e. your keys don't work), you hire a locksmith to change them or do it yourself.- Gain entry to YOUR house, through whatever means, and immediately temporarily rent it with a written lease to your very large, muscular, aggressive, friend...  :-) .In Texas I have registered electronically with the Justice Courts in the counties where I have property and filing an eviction is relatively painless, even more so for squatters.

I called a locksmith and he said there was nothing he could do.My options if no windows are unlocked are to break a window, kick open the door, or someone suggested I could possibly use a flexible saws all blade and cut the bolt itself through the gap.Any suggestions, cheaper the better, would be appreciated.
