We have many of them in our portfolio here at Holton-Wise.Below is an example of a some of them.The majority of these properties are actually zoned and recognized as multi family homes as they were converted back when the building and zoning codes were different.

@Randall Kates Whether the property is titled in your personal name or LLC, there is no major difference in the closing and loan costs to finance / refinance a property.

One thing to note is that many brokers don't participate in property management & many that do like my company Holton-Wise & I believe @David Terbeek 's (correct me If I am wrong) brokerage do property management on the broker/office level but do not allow their agents to act as direct individual property managers.

Kate sold the property to John in 2004.
