I understand that on BP there is a culture that paid workshops are unnecessary and scams, however I have found them very educational and useful.

Does a lot of the pumped-up RE economy in BC depend on Chinese investment, and can that be counted on?

I like to buy single family homes in Detroit I can easily understand a street or block (as far as safety, culture, demographics) better than I can for multi-family in Detroit.

After that I believe it’s all about culture.

With just a couple of special exceptions, I use cultured marble and Formica w/a rounded edge everywhere.

They are less and less and they have been replaced by the Chinese, who are only interested in parking their money in a stable market and don't really care about the return they get.So very few real estate investors in Montreal make serious money today.
