Most are fine with that, but a few will have problems with it and claim there are legal issues, etc..

I was one of the fortunate ones that was able to get out of the contract and after all expenses (forfeited deposit, legal fees, holding costs, etc) lost less than $20k.  

Has anyone had any luck obtaining legal counsel and fighting this?  

You will attract all scumbags in this world and soon find out your repair and legal cost will easily pass your yearly income.

Not sure if that is legal but I agree.

I did that (posted the notice on the screen door and took pictures), however don't know if it's legally served.
