@Chris Johansen There’s a few action items you should take care of to protect yourself from construction related liability.1.The Builder should maintain commercial general liability and professional liability insurance 2.

And after observing @Benjamin Aaker in action I love how he manages his debt. 

It's in the main area of the home, and the intention is to keep it as a long-term rental, so I agree that addressing the issue might be the best course of action. 

I"m thinking it would be helpful in determining what action one could take with regards to loan work out.

Cabins are sitting on the market for a long time with little action.
