I actually think she is unhappy with Shannon not getting a job but does not want to upset him or lose him.

You just have to balance on getting better return on your investment while not upsetting a good tenant.  

I would encourage you to let them know that the are welcome to leave and you are happy to let their lease end early at anytime, without advanced notice, the next time they are upset about something.

If they have been paying well (and since it is from 2011 I would think they are)  I would say I need the house,   I appreciate you are upset but this is what I need to do right now.   

Turns out, she was coming out of the hospital and was upset by my text.Husband calls today and says he'll still honor the agreement but he didn't read it very thoroughly and thinks 60 days is a long time and that basically my due diligence period is sketchy.

In addition, people are upset that he was not entirely candid about the evidence for WMDs in Iraq, although I think anyone who believes a politician's claims only has himself to blame.
