More than likely they are white collar criminals and are property owners.

I would bet real money that some of these scammers have criminal records and could not get a license!

It was the private investors who funded those loans that relied on their lenders policy to get paid back .. of course title would not pay any interest. it was a mess of epic proportions the guy that did it plead guilty and within 8 months was doing 9 years in San Quention so you can't stop criminal intent and actions, so you need insurance to protect yourself. 

There is no point in involving the police so they are unlikely to do anything, given that this is a civil matter, not a criminal one.

If you don't occupy and the bank finds out, they'll likely call the note due and possible pursue criminal charges for fraud.
