Each one I've stayed in was ranked 4.5 - 5 stars, and they definitely were not at that level.

We used metal edging, "black star" gravel in the beds up front and seating area, planted sod (900SF by seating area), compacted pea-gravel on top of road base for the driveways, and did a planter at the corner of the property by the street.

Everything was just peachy keen, and I stupidly relied solely on Washington Zillow Mortgage reviews (alleged 200+ 5 star, could easily be gamed).

I am not sure about the exact dynamics of the Roanoke market but I have visited the Star City on numerous occasions and Roanoke seems to be up and coming.
