Hi All,After inspecting the attic and talking to the tenants, who were generally very calm about it, I discovered a thin layer of soot from the original sheathing material on most everything in the attic.The main thing that is claimed as ruined is a baby mattress for the crib, which I offered to replace.

They also said that they're not buying us a new microwave, even though they ruined ours with food stains.Please help.

She won settlement in December 2015, but due to all the medical bills and just bills in general she went in debt(ruined her credit which is why she wants to have the application under her son).

We deal with many of the same things mentioned and more, like ruined grass and picking up pet poop.

Then again, maybe that's the motivation needed to keep them from ruining your property.

Our landlord wants to sell our hime, we have the income (30,000 per month) I had a divorce 7 years ago, and I paid so much money out until recently so I do not have a lot of savings (I just sent a big check to the IRS), also my credit got ruin.

Make it look like you suspect them of ruining your furnace. 

Had to replace one stove and pretty much the replacement was also ruined. 

The financial loss sucks, but what really sucks is buying an 800K house for the first time, moving in all excited, an then one month later having someone like this move in and completely ruin everything.

@Brian Greeson so sorry to hear that you're dealing with crappy neighbors and it seems to be ruining the quite enjoyment of your good tenant.
