In my opinion it's overkill to set up an LLC right out of the gate, especially given the additional costs and the fact that a lot of people don't even stick with REI for more than 1 or 2 properties.

However, if you require cash flow out of the gate, you will simply have to put more money down (borrow less) so your profits cover the acquisition expense of the loan.The golden age of low interest rates and low asset costs is over.
