I drove around Hammond last week to look at some mls properties, I didn't call any police departments to ask about the areas but I did look into their crime reports site, I think it's a very useful tool when it comes to gagging for the safety of a neighborhood, what I also like to do and what I did is to talk to neighbors of the properties I went to look at, I feel that they are also very good source of info.

California has several challenges to Prop 13, it's unknown if the CA plan to give respite to those who stay in their house will last the winds of time.Property taxes pay for roads, sewers, police, fire... items that municipalities decide and have increased in cost over time.

Hi Daniel,You might want to think about filing a Police Report listing the stolen items as accurately as you can, and then going to visit the nearest 5 pawnshops (google maps) with the Police Report and see if anyone has pawned a bunch of tools (that are yours).Drug addicts do this for drug money, they never intend to actually work with the tools to make money themselves.You might be lucky and get them back.Good Luck!

Your with tunnel vision on these few numbers which honestly, that analysis style WILL loose you money, because your going to get into a descending market, or a maintenance time-bomb, a tenant class you can't manage and the following tenant nightmares.
