I just think your analogies/comparisons creates a false impression.  

I would caution you to not provide a false proof of funds if you do not intend to buy the property.

They are 4 adults and 4 kids.Their reason for not taking me up on my offer to let them stay somewhere else is that they said its unreasonable to find last minute accommodations and the cost was prohibitive.They're claiming false advertising (due to the omission) and the guy with a bad back got zero sleep and his dream vacation was ruined.

But in honest cases of searching out an interest like you did before getting around to filling in your profile, I falsely assumed "troll". 

Well that's just another bedroom with a bath down the hall or worse yet downstairs from the bedroom...it's false advertising.  

If its absurd then I'll have to think of something.

By saying something similar to this is doesnt give the seller any false ideas that you are actually going to buy the home and gives you a free pass if it doesnt sell.

In many cases, they don't even mention multiple offers, as it just doesn't matter.I usually agree with your responses, but the agent not only has a fiduciary duty to get the best deal for his client, but under the Realtor Code of Ethics, they cannot also give false information to another agent or party to the transaction.

He's been busted for teaching fraud in the inducement, fraud in the factum, false advertising, bait and switch, and illegally brokering without a license.
