Why would you hide it and give someone else money?

If you're in your 1031 exchange window, the option to wait and buy in a few years is not available unless you want to pay the taxes now and then invest, or just pay taxes, hide the $ under your mattress and ride out the storm before investing in anything.  

People will hide damage and hope you don’t see small things they broke.

I disagree with you, and it is not hard to find out who the owner of the proprieties is no matter where you hide them, and it is not hard to find what insurance policy you have and who the carrier is, so I understand you try to pull a slick one by hiding everything and once you get sued and are you going to run for the hills or appear in court and face the judge and the lawyer, who is handling the case and you will have to be honest with the judge.

I get real single coat when I apply because I use higher grade even at glidden, I don't use any of their "speed"hide paints, pretty useless, you use 2-3 coats for single coat on higher grade, my labor and material costs are higher if I use lower or rental grades.

Or they are just hiding out. :) Maybe we could pull them out of the woodwork and get them on board.

Just in my personal residence I've found that grey hides and obscures dirt and stains a little bit better.

Not easy to hide from the street warriors.I like both and believe BOTH will go higher.
