my small size and eagerness to " boldly go where no man has gone before" allows me to find a   way to get into that crawl space and see what i can find. lets face it, crawl spaces, attics, roofs and " hidden areas" tell you just about everything you need to know about a house. i personally have removed an attic panel that was screwed AND glued shut just to get into the attic.
