Dogs will scratch stuff,   chew on stuff, and cause damages, blinds will be destroyed, it's CYA!

That is usually reason enough for many landlords to turn a blind eye to most lease violations.The fact is it is your property and your lease.

One of my favorites is that I get to write off 14% of any remodeling I do to my home (the percentage of my home that my home office takes up)....and of course, I can write off 100% of anything I do to my home office itself (new double pane insulated windows and automatic blinds, for example). 

New blinds and light fixtures (Ikea has more modern fixtures for cheaper than home depot) are easy to do as well.  

Just out of curiosity, does the window not have a blind or shutter or curtain or anything that can prevent someone from looking in?

I know, interact, and enjoy my relationships with a few wholesalers but one can no longer receive blind honest help from me without including the seller in the conversation.

This is where many new investors have a blind spot.

Wow, after reading about all the LLC's, state requirements, double-blinds I got dizzy. 

I think its a good idea to provide blinds for your tenants.
