I'm totally biased on that statement since I sit on the Atlanta board of directors for NARPM but it's a true statement. 

I think it will be a great event (obviously I'm biased as I'm speaking and co-host) but there are really great speakers lined up (like CoreLogic, Mortgage Bankers Association MBA) and big name investors who don't normally speak at events like this.

My anti condo bias is going to show. 

I don't use a property manager so I am somewhat biased here but I would not be happy with this.

Too often, we call landlords for references and they don't get back to us, or in an apartment community we get ahold of someone who doesn't know anything about the tenants; they might be able to check payment history but that's it - there is no knowledge of how they kept up the overall condition of the apartment.I agree that for most professional landlords, two male roommates should not raise any major concerns, but you may be renting from a self-managing home owner, and it's possible that you will run into this bias.

I may be biased but with 38 units across 14 properties, you have way better things to be doing than worrying about bookkeeping and taxes.

I will admit that as a lawyer (not in this field), I am biased, but really, it is important.
