If a "guru" tries to sell you their program or software guaranteeing you leads, come here and do a search on that person or software and see what other members have to say about it.

Please consult a tax professional for how to report your investments.I keep accounting records on software like quickbooks or Xero and I know every month about how much my tax bill is so I make estimated tax payments monthly instead of quarterly (just easier for me that way).

Hey All - Looking to bump this thread as PayNearMe doesn't currently accept landlords for the PM software I'm using.  

To be successful and profitable in property managment you need to have a lot of properties because the margins are pretty thin and the accounting and software are fairly expensive if you only have a few homes.  

I am not an accountant and was wondering what software program you use and believe in to help manage these new properties?

Any company that want you to take a course or by their software before loaning you money is a joke.

I ended up going with rentigo mainly because of the online rent collection but love their free software. 

I work full-time for a software company that has created a fantastic CRM/Deal MGT solution specifically for Commercial Real Estate brokers and absolutely love it.
