Then at some point I would change my attitude, and do all the things that a landlord or a manager should do, and become the jerk.I would keep the relationship with tenants as formal as possibile, covid is the best excuse for all of us when we don't want to hang out with someone, and when a tenant is on the phone, if he/she starts talking about his/her personal life, always cut the conversation short, telling them that you would love to talk to them but you're about to go out on a meeting.

Your point about a judge's attitude towards this arrangement is well-taken.

Get over yourself and if you can't bring yourself to apologize, then at least STFU and slink back to whatever corner of the internet you came from. While I have no idea if the OP is exaggerating (I suspect not), I do know what I did and what I'm capable of and your whole attitude is sickening.

Those who take an upfront professional attitude in this business won't deal with you, or, if they do deal with you, it will be not only acceptable but a desirable thing to do to really put it to you and run you out of business.

Some have chosen to divert from the point he was attempting to make in order to respond with self-righteous statements of grandeur and non-judgement of others.FYI- proclaiming yourself above the use of a word instead of just responding to the question isn't just self-righteous, its also very telling. There is a difference between people being firm in their beliefs and self-righteous, there is nothing wrong with being firm and confident...but if you really are then you don't need the "Shut up and listen to me" attitude that turns if from one to the other.I have found VERY FEW who are arrogant and stubborn are also successful and if they are telling you flat out thats how they are with their attitude on display, you should thank them for not wasting your time.
