Uncle is unmarried (widowed).It's rural and they never did title or deed transfer.

My mother (widow) was recently placed into a nursing home and her home was just listed on MLS is this the right move? 

She is widowed and soon to reach the point in her life where looking after the house is too much work.

the best deals i've had were where there was no competition..motivated sellers, probate, absentee landlords, inherited properties and widows, etc.

If you want egress windows, now is the time to add them as well as the big widow wells and proper drainage for any window wells too.
