Every now and then, I'll receive a legitimate check in the mail with a warning that by endorsing it, I'll be agreeing to sign up for an insurance policy, a magazine subscription, or whatever else.Anyone know about the legality of these checks or how I can begin writing them against my own business accounts?

The firm MUST be a licensed Broker/Dealer and you MUST have a Private Placement paperwork including your subscription documents and prospectus.

I am excited to see what they do with the next upgrade, as I'm a big fan of RF and the platform does include some great marketing material.Two features of FS that are key for me: the Offerbot, which autofills out contracts for me (an unbelievable timesaver if you are submitting 50-100 offers a month, which you should be) and the well designed squeeze pages that are included with the subscription.

I believe renav.com, a paid subscription site, provides consoldiated info and easy way to check comps, but much of the functionality requires a subscription.

Every LLC should have an EIN (and a specific person is listed as being associated with the EIN - typically a member or manager, but not necessarily), but EIN records are not available on as part of a typical Lexis subscription (at least not that I know of).

Additionally, they also offer an online-only subscription for $50/yr that allows you to listen to the entire meeting (including the member haves/wants) and download any presentation files.
