Keeping things hush-hush from the on-site staff?

Thanks Don, that is both enlightening, and created new questions as I have 2 potential deals that could be classified as commercial, both are airbnb portfolios, with one being 3 singe family units, and the other being a single site with multiple units (11 units,themed resort style).

I think tracking productivity will be tough unless you have someone on site that is checking their work at the end of the day and documenting their progress. 

They require a site plan to get that started.Has anyone had any experience with this and have done it successfully?

This sewer line runs under 2 of the other subdivided lots that were intended to have houses on them about 400' away and ties into a city main 1 block away from the houseOct 2008 - I purchase the home and everything is great, assuming all is per plan.2010 - Developer sells one of the lots that my sewer runs under to the water district for a future clean water well site. 

I feel in real estate if one is truly involved in it these are two of the most important sites utilized.

Aside from the risk of taking on the property with tenants, you may also have to purchase site unseen which makes it tough to calculate repair costs. 

Regular Inspections: Conduct frequent site visits to monitor progress and ensure quality standards are met.

Another thing is, the sites that list the manufacture year showed that all the ones I was looking at were built in the 70s.

Search for this in a Michigan Public Notice legal newspaper or an online legal notice aggregator site like USALEGALNOTICES and the fount of MI pre FC/FC data will be available to you.
