Out of control property taxes and regulations are a big factor in the upward pressure on rents and yet these costs aren't capped, only the income from the property is capped. * Municipalities stand to lose untold millions in property tax revenue, as rental property values will certainly drop if their potential earnings are capped. * We can only imagine the morass of bureaucracy it will take to administer Rent Control, housing will be forever taken off the market and it may encourage an illegal black market in Rent Controlled units.https://caanet.org/votervoice/You can contact your local reps here to fight this injustice!!

The problem is not only that existing tenants suffer, but that local government will be pressured to pass legislation that will be extreme and engulf well run parks into spending unnecessary expense and complying with rules designed to provide residents with services they don’t want.

@Gabriela Angel nothing good comes from tenants knowing you are the owner.They just get to pressure you for immediate responses, whereas you typically want time to think and respond.Many here will state otherwise, but won't provide LOGICAL reasons, only emotional ones.

Yeah, I guess my thought process was that if she got a text, she could process the idea and respond accordingly instead of feeling pressured to respond a certain way immediately.
