To piggy back off Connor - offering an incentive to tenants who find another renter when you have vacancies and trying to limit pets can help a lot as well!

Kinda fun tbh.I ended up having 2 people just from talking and lifestlye (pets, kids, jobs), I picked one as they have a more consistent income and did a vetting on credit/background for around $40.Within 3 days, the vacancy was filled.RenovationNo property is perfect.

Having nurse friendly amenities is important : blackout curtains, allows pets (many bring pets), good mattresses

I have just been notified that there is extensive damage (an unteported leak caused by one of the tenants bidets) and an unauthorized pet in my rental home that may have also caused damage.

I don't know, but I'm guessing perhaps there was a leak/flood and the subfloor rotted, and/or pet urine that soaked into the subfloor, and/or mold issues?
