We just received a quote from a Snow Removal Landscaping Company, and they are stating it would cost $1,440 to "rake 8 feet of snow from the roof, and throw salt down to melt the ice."

If Global Warming is really going to melt the ice packs and raise the ocean levels enough to flood out all the Coastal communities and raise the river levels, then, how is our Flood Insurance going to cover all that?

We took a lot of the older ones out over the last few years as tenants would put in TWO 150-200 watt bulbs & cook not only the bulb mounts & insulated thin Al reflecting paper disk, but some had evidence of melted wiring insulation up in the junction box & they wondered why they had light flicker.My favorite image of lighting upgrade...

Account Closed, definitely check all the mechanicals first thing they can increase rehab cost quickly including that roof, if its snow covered as it melts it will tell you if the roof is leakingwe love MH's they are all we do now so don't pay any attention to the negative comments you will get from other people, they are a great way to change your life

Our home inspection reported that we needed tuckpointing and grade correction, but the foundation was straight and dry at the time (of course, there was no water source / melting snow at the time).

If you can, I would get up on the roof and remove snow that could be melting causing this and take a look up there for roof damage, gutters froze up, ect.
