You need the backup option in case the mid-term rental market changes.Minimizing turn costs and downtime is critical.

Hiring the right GC is key to getting the property market-ready efficiently.

Plenty of comps and market data to support second/third house claim.

But if costs are high or demand is uncertain, holding onto the land while monitoring the market might be the better play.
