I know BP trys to Vet lenders as much as possible .. so weed out fake lenders who just steal DD money.. other than that I dont personally know.. but I suspect BP relys on feed back from members

I suggest to the tenant if there's no gas feeding the heater turning the thermostat up to 84 (where it was set at when I first walked in) isn't really going to do much good.I think I'll add a clause in my lease that the landlord will now be responsible for overseeing all the turn ons for gas.Gail

I would also check to see if there is a local news channel that would be interested in covering a "shady PM company wrongfully tries to evict elderly tenant" story.While there is no legal grounds (based on the limited section you posted) to demand the removal of these fees since they are clearly stated in the contract, chances are good that the company won't want to go through all of the negative publicity and lost business due to poor reviews.
