Junk mail, junk email, text advertising, sales pitch robo phone calls.  5000 contacts = 4500 ignores, 450 mildly pissed off, 48 “lookers”, 1 real buyer, and 1 deeply depressed, almost suicidal individual who believes a random postcard means the end of western civilization.

Also, you basically did the same thing, or worse(insulting Account Closed) in a more long and drawn out way by questioning his success and knowledge, calling him several names, and offering to "enlighten" him without actually offering any techniques for enlightenment, just blathering on about how bad he is and implying how great and virtuous you are for butting in and defending some strangers honor and upholding the highest levels of civil discourse.

Personally, I would like not to go through litigation and court but if I do, can I sue the City for damages, inflation adjustments, loss of gains from not being able to use the money to help my Real Estate Portfolio grow?

If not, the city does not have to honor the 2 family use and could require a new use permit where you would need to have an architect or civil engineer submit a new zoning plan and obtain a zoning permit.
