That said, as I write this I have an electrician in my kitchen, moving circuits and switches mainly (it was a poor design), when he's gone I'll actually install the recessed light cans, then texture and paint.Remember, if you're paying a "tradesman" $50/hour (cheap in most parts of the country) you have to "earn" about $85 to net the $50!

It wasn't so much the burn or the dead person so much as it was the fact i couldn't see any burn damaage which says to me that it was hidden, but possibly not repaired.The dead person alone wouldn't have been a deal-breaker but I was told the body was not discovered for "some time"Anyhow, I think I made the right decision, but I am not going to let it discourage me.

If for a kitchen, the lights must be hard wired and cannot be plugged into or running off the 2 kitchen small appliance circuits.
