It's all over the place and landlords have far less hassles with an arbitrager that was screened just like a LTR tenant, then a 12 month live in the property tenant. 

At about 3:35pm on the third and final day(there were only about 40 people left) when we all came back from our last "break" there was a slide up on the screen.

On the surface, it appears to be a straightforward role, but it becomes far more challenging when faced with issues like non-paying tenants requiring eviction or broken systems that haven't been properly followed.As a self-managing property owner, it is absolutely doable—but success depends on treating it like a business.

Another expense is replacing items that are broken, stolen, or worn out over time.

Hi, As a property manager (based in Chicago), I have to say the screening process is paramount, because its the start of your relationship with various prospects.

The reason for that is I have no idea how bad someone sucks at tenant screening.
