While I don't raise debt offerings, like Chris does, my general sentiment is that many investors are wanting more security these days versus equity, and those that are open to equity, at least in the multifamily space, are looking for very high returns, given the perceived risks they are hearing about in the news.

My overall goal is to have my real estate commission checks in that company and have the new s-corp company buy units to rent. 

I only chose this year because of the constant news I hear about real estate and how the best time is always 'now' and I believe I have finally saved up enough for a down payment after working for a full year.

That sometimes catches people via a news story or law enforcement site.Question: if their felony arrests are disclosed, why are you still looking into them? 

Just because Fox News threw around the term "rent control" 514 times to ragebait you doesn't make it the same thing.The point here is you can't on one hand say "politicians shouldn't interfere to artificially change the market" and on the other say "these tax breaks that were created by politicians to artificially change the market need to stay in place".
