My #1 advice to people that are still in contemplating getting out is to make sure that all of your injuries are documented because the Army- military will surprisingly take care of you on the other end with disability.I didn’t even know what disability was- I thought the only perk of the military after you’re out was the GI bill, but I ended up getting medically discharged because my back and a few other things and I now have a retirement card that will allow me on any military installation just like your cac card.

We literally just went under contract with a property within 7 minutes from our home and although the property required us to put more money down and more sweat equity needed to get it up and running, we feel like we can get more renovations done ourselves and save some money so the CAC will be better once we get established.
